What if you want to use MOSS, but you don’t want all the users who need to authenticate (think of internet and extranet) in teh Active Directory?
Then microsoft has the right tool for you.

Haven’t used it myself, because it uses ADAM. But what i hear from some customers of me who do use it, it works. Although you will need some time and intelligence to install it
